Bikethevalley.com is a website that encourages bicycling in the Central Shenandoah Valley. It details on-and off-road cycling facilities in our neighborhoods, communities, and provides a comprehensive list of scenic loop rides in each of the area’s localities. Browse the maps for scenic routes in the counties of Augusta, Bath, Highland, Rockbridge, and Rockingham; the cities of Buena Vista, Harrisonburg, Lexington, Staunton, and Waynesboro; and the eleven towns that lie between.
We worked closely with Central Shenandoah Planning District Commission to recreate, from the ground up, this extensive resource for cyclists visiting the Central Shenandoah Valley, providing them with dynamic maps from ridewithGPS.com and other resources to ensure they’re journey on two wheels is a successful one.
